Silicon Nitride Probes

The HYDRA line from Applied NanoStructures contains the world's first truly hybrid probes, having low stress silicon nitride cantilevers integrated with single crystal silicon tips. These probes offer the following advantages:

HYDRA2R-50N Series

HYDRA2R-50N probes are primarily designed for force-distance applications in both air and fluid mediums. These probes have narrow, rectangular cantilevers and are suited for non-contact / tapping mode or contact mode applications.

HYDRA2R-100N Series

HYDRA4V-100N Series

HYDRA4V-100N Series probes represent a great starting point when uncertain about which mode is appropriate for a given sample type. The medium spring constant and length provides an ideal balance between non-contact and contact mode applications, with the option to easily transition between the two modes.
